Automotive vehicle having a vehicle seat with attached container for storing head rests.

The backrest (14), esp. of a three-part rear seat bench, can be folded down onto its seat. A container (18) is located on the underside of the backrest. The top surface of the container and the back of the folded-down backrest, form a mainly flat surface, while the head restraint is fitted into the container. The flat surface acts as a cargo platform. The container has a first cover (30) with locking mechanism (28), and a second cover, to give access to a breakdown kit. One of the container walls has a holder for a head restraint, and there is a cover (52) for a lock.
