Improved protection device with 1S circuits for electrochemical battery assemblies

Four electrochemical modules (1-1,1-2,1-3,1-4) each having electrochemical generators (2) are connected in series to positive and negative terminals. Each module is individually protected by electronic protective circuits (6) of type 1S and also by upstream diodes (7) and fusible elements (8). When a particular protective circuit opens it's contacts, the diodes allow the remaining modules to continue working. An Independent claim is also included for an assembly of batteries which use the protective system
