The shuttle wagon consists of a driving part (7) composed of a chassis fitted with two drive and steering axles and pneumatic wheels (1) able to be positioned by a vertical displacement system relative to a railway part (8) composed of a frame placed on two axles fitted with railway wheels (2). The wagon can thus be used on either a railway track (3) or on a road (4). The driving cabin (5) can be oriented in all running directions by means of a turret (6).
