An on-board power circuit supplying a high-power unit comprises a generator (5), an energy store (1) and many consuming units (15,20,21,22) of which at least one needs high power (15) and is connected to a second energy store (2) which is connected to the on-board circuit through a controllable charging and separating unit (16).
