Exhaust gas recirculation device for spark ignited turbocharged internal combustion engine
DRIVE
January 2, 2004
The exhaust gases drive a turbine (32) that drives a compressor (24), which delivers air through a cooler (22) to the induction circuit (2). The recirculation circuit has a conduit (51) between the exhaust (30) and the induction circuit . The conduit has a vane (55) to control flow of gas, and valve (51) directing gas directly into the induction circuit or into the compressor intake.
