Windscreen wiper device

The device has a wiper blade that is arranged on a wiper arm. A region (11) of the arm facing a drive and another region (12) facing the blade are connected with two torsion spring units that are provided with opposed angles. The spring units with a square cross section, whose width is greater than its thickness, are curved in towards the windshield or curved away from the windshield.
