"textContent": "The device for reducing soot particles contained in diesel engine exhaust gases comprises an electronically controlled fuel dosing unit, an onboard computer, a silencer in the exhaust gas pipe, and a sensor for the exhaust gas counter pressure. A soot particle catalyst arrangement (10) consisting of catalyst units having different cell structure is integrated in the silencer. The catalyst units include a known NOx oxidation catalyst (11) with a cell division of 50-400 cpsi (7.75-62 cells per cm2) to increase the NO2 content of the exhaust gas, an average fine cellular soot conversion catalyst (12) with a cell division of 300-800 cpsi (46.5-124 cells per cm2) and a fine cellular further soot conversion catalyst (13) with a cell division of 600-1200 cpsi (93-186 cells per cm2). The soot particles are converted to carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.",
