"textContent": "An outflow prevention device 5, 5a, 5b, 5c for preventing refrigerant from flowing out into a vehicle compartment when an evaporator 6 has ruptured comprises a shut valve 8 in a passage via which refrigerant introduced from an expansion device is allowed to flow to the evaporator 6, and a check valve 9 in a passage via which refrigerant returned from the evaporator 6 is allowed to flow to an accumulator 7. A chamber 22a behind a piston 22 fixed to a valve element 18 and a downstream side of the check valve 9 communicate via a bypass passage 35, so that differential pressure generated across the check valve 9 is applied to the shut valve 8 to open and close the same. The valve element 18 and the piston 22 have the same active diameters to prevent the shut valve 8 from influences of introduced pressure, enabling the shut valve 8 to operate only by the differential pressure generated across the check valve 9 (Fig.2).",
