The gas turbine or turbojet engine, comprising a gas generator (12) with a low-pressure compressor (14), a high-pressure compressor, a conventional inner combustion chamber (6) and high- and low-pressure turbines (8B, 16B), incorporates an external combustion chamber (18) and a gas mixer combining a lobed daisy wheel (45) and organ pipes (48). The internal and external combustion chambers have annular walls, with the inner wall of the external combustion chamber surrounding the outer wall of the inner one and the turbine housing.
