Method of manufacturing a control device, in particular for transmission of motor vehicles

The separate control valves (35) and their attached solenoid drives (4) are assembled on a support flange (16) in a plastic injection-moulded bottom part (2) and are joined by injecting plastic into the mould via injection holes (3). The whole valve assembly is joined into a single unit for simple fitting into the vehicle. The support flange serves as an insulating layer between the valves and the plastic. The control electronics (24) is fitted to the tops of the solenoids as one unit to complete the valve assembly. The electric connections to the unit are via a multi-pin connector (25).
