"textContent": "The process for evaluation the acceleration of a vehicle wheel uses an accelerometer with three sensing axes. These are not aligned with the axes of measurement, but rather allow calculation of the required values by combination of components. The procedure provides an evaluation of the acceleration experienced in longitudinal (L) transverse (T) and vertical (V) directions, for example by the wheel of motor vehicle. This is achieved by an accelerometer having three axes of sensitivity. The accelerometer is orientated such that each of its axes (X,Y,Z) is not parallel with one of the axes (L,T,V) along which the acceleration is to be measured. The measurements provided by the accelerometer for each sensing axis (X,Y,Z) allow calculation of the components of acceleration along at least two of the axes of interest (L, T, V). The process thus enables determination of the acceleration along two of the axes of interest.",
