"textContent": "The vehicle seat back consists of two tubular uprights (12, 14) linked by a series of transverse strips made from rigid moulded parallelepiped blocks connected by non-stretch flexible elements that can be made in one piece with the blocks or fitted separately. The blocks have small gaps (26) between them, and the flexible elements allow them to pivot relative to one another in one direction, in which their adjacent faces move apart when a seated person applies a pressure against the seat back, but not in the opposite direction. In addition, a series of crossshaped wedges (30) can be inserted in the gaps between the blocks to give the seat back a set curvature. The transverse strips are connected to the uprights by fastening straps (34) with fixings (36) such as screws for the blocks.",
