DRIVE October 22, 2003
Source
The braking system comprises brake activators connected to a central computer having means for working activator control signals (C') and controlling the deceleration of the vehicle at an instructed deceleration value (C) resulting from activating the brake pedal. The system comprises an assembly of vehicle running parameters (S1,S2,S3,S4,S5,S6) connected to estimate modules (28,30,32,34) of deceleration perturbation components resulting from the parameters. The computer comprises vehicle speed estimation means (36) from the activator signals, measurement of the speed and modeling of the braking system, and means for comparing the estimated and measured speeds.
