Extendable loading platform

The extendable load floor (1) for especially motor vehicles moves along at least one horizontal guide track by rollers or slides (2). At least one guide track (4) has at least two sections which together include an angle which is greater than 0 degrees but no more than 90 degrees. At least one guide track has two parallel yet vertically spaced apart sections (4a,4c) which are interconnected by a third section (4b) which bridges the vertical distance. The last section, viewed in the extension direction, is the highest when viewed vertically. A hydraulic working cylinder (6) is provided to drive the load floor.
