The heated flange has at least one heating element (102,104) for heating the passing air and a base body (101) for mechanically holding and electrically contacting the heating element. The base body has a retaining device (106) with an essentially U-shaped cross-section and the heating element contains at least one essentially U-shaped meandering loop fixed to the retaining device at its base.
