Air conditioner with reduced number of piping accessories
DRIVE
October 1, 2003
A refrigerant circuit in an air conditioner comprises a compressor (1) that compresses a refrigerant, a condenser (2) that liquefies the refrigerant, a pressure reducing device (3) that reduces the pressure of the compressed refrigerant, and an evaporator (4) that exchanges heat by utilizing the refrigerant. The condenser comprises plural fin tubes (28), through which the refrigerant passes, two headers (24,25), to which both ends of the fin tubes are connected, upper and lower mounting brackets (22,23) that are fixed to the headers, and vibration insulating material (26) that collaborates with pin members and support the condenser via the upper and lower mounting brackets. A valve unit (14), comprising a bypass pipe through which the refrigerant bypasses the condenser and the pressure reducing device, and comprising switching means to change the flow routes of the refrigerant is fixed to the header or to the upper or lower mounting bracket.
