Side impact beam for vehicle

Side impact support for integrating in a motor vehicle consists of a profiled sheet metal with at least one longitudinal bead and widened end sections. Transverse beads are formed in the end section perpendicular to the longitudinal beads. Preferred Features: The length of one transverse bead corresponds to the width of one longitudinal bead. The side impact support is provided with two adjacently extending longitudinal beads and the length of each transverse bead corresponds approximately to the width of the two longitudinal beads. Each longitudinal and transverse bead is stamped in the same direction. The transverse beads lie directly in front of the ends of the each longitudinal bead.
