End cap for a heat exchanger assembly, in particular for a vehicle heater

The closure cap for a motor vehicle heating heat exchanger has a seating area (14) to fit onto an heat exchanger with a fluid flow connection in a first direction. It has a mixing zone (22) for mixing the fluid stream at different areas of the heat exchanger entering the receiving area of the cap. The cap has two outlet areas (24,26) for discharge of the fluid stream from the mixing zone of the cap.
