A connection (1) between the inlet of the fuel distribution line and the inlet section of the fuel injection valve has a guide section (2) for inserting in a distributor connector (3) with a central inlet bore (12) and is sealed by a sealing device (10). The guide section has a shoulder (6). A holding element (4) inserted in the inlet bore in a force-locking manner is surrounded by the guide section and, using a step (5), presses the shoulder against the surface (7) of the distributor connector. An Independent claim is also included for an alternative fuel injection system. Preferred Features: The holding element has a central fuel inlet bore (13).",
