The invention relates to a fuel injection valve (1) comprising an injection hole (8), a valve seat located at an upstream side of the injection hole (8), a valve body (40) which performs opening and closing of a fuel passage in corporation with the valve seat and a driving means for driving the valve body (40), wherein a spray restriction (7G) is formed at an outlet portion of the injection hole (8), wherein the spray restriction (7G) extends in a direction away from an end face (7B) of a nozzle member (7) and a wall face of the spray restriction (7G) facing the injection hole (8) is offset by a distance (C1) from the outlet of the injection hole (8).
