The blind for a motor vehicle has a closure panel (13) movable between deployed and retracted positions when actuated by a pull bar at the end of the panel. The pull bar (15) has a base fixed to the panel and a shell pivotally mounted on the base to cover a gap in which the panel moves when the blind is retracted.
