DRIVE August 13, 2003
Source
The cylinder head for a motor vehicle internal combustion engine has a recess (36) for a fuel injector extending along the engine longitudinal axis an opening into a combustion chamber. The head also defines inlet and exhaust ports (40,42) defining, with the wall of the recess, channels (48,50) for coolant liquid. At least one exhaust port is offset radially outwardly with respect to the engine axis in relation to the other exhaust ports.
