Sunshade for vehicle roof

The assembly has a sunshade (10) movable relative to two guide rails (14) between open and closed positions, and having two lateral edges (15,17) supported by guide rails. Two sliding elements (122) are movable within respective guide rails, and support the lateral edges of sunshade on respective guide rails. A collection space (34) formed by a collecting rail (36) receives the sunshade in open position.
