A violet or other agreed color light is located at the rear of a vehicle and may take the place of the third brake light. The additional light is completely independent of the brake lights and is operated by a return of the cable connecting the accelerator pedal to the admission valve. The contactor controlling the light is adjustable as required by the driver.
