Electronic display and control device for a measuring instrument

Electronic display and control device for a geodesic measurement instrument has an electronic display device for presentation of a measurement area that is separate from the recording means and input and control devices for input of data for controlling the recording device and the measurement process. The display device is used with a cursor type marking or crossed wires to control the actual position of the measurement point of the instrument. The invention also relates to corresponding geodesic measurement instrument, modular components for use with geodesic measurement system and a geodesic measurement system.
