There is disclosed a bearing unit for vehicle support comprising a shaft (2) having a mounting flange (6), a step portion (8) formed on one end portion thereof, and a crimped portion (19) formed on the end side of the step portion (8) and having an outside end face with a composite curvature of different radii, and at least one inner ring (3) fitted onto the step portion (8) and having an inner ring raceway (9) thereon, and the inner ring (3) being fixed to the shaft (2) by the crimped portion (19) of the shaft (2).
