Starting device for internal combustion engines

An ignition switch or starter PB initiates operation of the starter (5) through a control device (6). This energizes the starter relay (3) coil (11) through a diode (17). Should the drop in voltage due to the starter current reduce the voltage below a level which initiates a reset of the control device (which disables it) an undervoltage switch (13) connects the starter relay coil through a second blocking diode (18) to ground to ensure that the starter is initiated.
