A power train arrangement (90) having a prime mover (111) and a transmission (113) coupled to the prime mover (111) for driving a cooling system (122) with the prime mover (111) through the transmission (113). The transmission (113) is positioned intermediate to the prime mover (111) and the cooling system (122) in a manner to optimize the mechanical and functional operation of a work machine (100).
