Fluid control valve system

Disclosed herein is a fluid control valve (24) comprising a valve seat (220), and a nozzle (224) proximate the valve seat (220). The nozzle (224) includes a convergent section (302) and a divergent section (306) formed by a circular segment-shaped profile. Also disclosed herein is a system (10) for controlled feeding of volatile fuel components from a free space (12) of a fuel tank (14) to an engine manifold (16), the system (10) comprising a storage chamber (34) in fluid communication with the free space (12) of the fuel tank (14), and a valve (24) in fluid communication between the storage chamber (34) and the engine manifold (16). The valve (24) includes a valve seat (220) and a nozzle (224) proximate the valve seat (220). The nozzle (224) includes a convergent section (302) and a divergent section (306) formed by a semi-circular profile.
