It also has at least one equipment to operate the linings. During the operation of the brake, the self-reinforcement can be altered by equipment (9-21). The latter may be formed by an adjusting mechanism (10), which enables the angle between the line which connects the central point of application of force between the lining and the surface to the central point of support for the lining, to the direction of the normal force which acts on the lining.",
