Storable roof for convertible vehicle

The hard top for a convertible is made up of two or more sections (3 - 5). The front section is connected by a multiple-lever system (14, 15) to the middle section (4). The upper lever (15) is attached at a point (29) offset from the front edge of the middle section and swivels above it as the roof is opened.
