Cylinder head gasket with seal coatings

A metal gasket (1, 1A, 1A', 1B, 1C) for sealing two parts includes a metal gasket member (10; 11, 12; 10B; 10C) having two surfaces to contact the parts, at least two seal coatings (21-28; 21A, 22A; 23A, 24A; 21B, 22B; 21C, 22C, 23C) coated on the two surfaces of the gasket member to constitute sealing lines (L1-L7; LA1-LA4) on the surfaces of the gasket member, and micro coatings (30; 30A) coated on the two surfaces of the gasket member and having a thickness less than that of the seal coating. The seal lines (L1-L7; LA1-LA4) are arranged so that one of the sealing lines on one surface of the metal plate is shifted from the other of the sealing lines on the other surface of the gasket member.
