INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE WITH COMBUSTION HEATER
DRIVE
April 16, 2003
An internal combustion engine with combustion heater capable of increasing the heat quantity of the combustion gas exhausted from a combustion heater, comprising a combustion chamber (17d) for burning fuel, engine cooling water circulating between the combustion chamber (17d) and engine-related elements, heat exchanging parts (17a, 17c, 150) for exchanging heat between the combustion gas produced in the combustion chamber (17d) and the engine cooling water, and heat exchanger effectiveness reduction means (149, 205) for lowering heat exchanger effectiveness in the heat exchanging parts (17a, 17c, 150).
