DRIVE April 9, 2003
Source
The motor vehicle has the front end of the hood supported on buffers (6) to rest on a cross piece (1) of the vehicle bodywork which supports (3) the headlights (2). Between the underside of the inner part (7) of the bonnet and the top of the headlights is a chamber. The chamber is closed by a thin deformable wall (4'') of the front panel for the headlights. The headlights are mounted in an area likely to be out of contact with a pedestrian.
