Roof structure for a motor vehicle

The roof for a motor vehicle has a movable frontal roof section to selectively open a frontal roof opening. A rear hatch or panel is hinged at its front end to selectively open a rear roof opening. The front roof section is mounted in a modular support frame (12) itself attached to a frame (3) attached to the vehicle bodywork. The rear hatch is pivoted on brackets (19,20) on the rear cross member of the modular frame.
