Coolant cycle with exhaust gas heat exchanger

The coolant circuit includes an exhaust heat exchanger (19) whereby coolant can be supplied directly from the radiator (10) to the exhaust heat exchanger. The coolant supply from the radiator and/or engine to the exchanger can be regulated by a valve (14).
