Process for direct fuel injection in the form of two injections with different injection angles and injection control device
DRIVE
March 26, 2003
The method is for the direct injection of fuel with an injection valve (23) into the combustion chamber (12) of an internal combustion engine with an ignition device (22), whereby for a combustion process two injections are involved. The fuel is at least partly injected from the injection valve in two injections at different angles to the ignition device. The second injection is effected closer to the ignition device than the first injection. The injection valve for adjustment of the injection angle in relation to the ignition device injects fuel with a larger injection angle range (W). The injection valve has an operable valve needle (1), which has a seat (7) and is provided as closure member for opening and closing an injection aperture (2).
