Drive axle

The axle housing (11) is connected through a flange (12) of an intermediate housing (4) to the gear housing (6). The intermediate housing is mounted between the axle housing and gear housing and the differential gearing (10) is mounted in the axle housing. The flange (12) of the intermediate housing adjoins the axle housing on one side and the gear housing on the other. The gear housing, axle housing and intermediate housing are connected together through common connecting elements (17).
