Light arrangement for vehicle interior

The primary light, the secondary light (11) and the switch (15) are set in a small housing on the underside of the vehicle roof. The primary light is an incandescent lamp, and the secondary light is a LED (Light Emitting Diode). The LED is mounted in a reflective plate or sheet (17) with a hole (19) through which light may shine down onto the gear lever and surrounding console. There is a light guide (21) which directs some of the light from the LED into the vicinity of the switch.
