The swivel bearing is mounted to a guide and moved upwards when the cover is raised. The cover is provided for closing a roof opening (12). A cover liner is positioned underneath the cover. A linkage (22) is set between the cover and cover liner to couple the cover and cover liner to each other during the raising of the cover. The rear edge of the cover liner is lifted during the raising of the cover. The linkage includes the drag lever which swivels when the cover is raised. The drag lever is supported in the swivel bearing on the side of the vehicle roof. The drag lever has a first bearing for connection with the cover and a second bearing for connection with the cover liner.",
