A device for opening and closing a roto-translating door (2) comprising a ledge frame (4) and a moving wing (6) pivotally mounted onto a pair of curved arms (8, 10), actuated by a rotatable vertical bar (14), and onto a third, extensible arm (12). The extension of the third arm (12) allows the wing (6) to perform a partial rotation allowing it to contact, during an end portion of the closing movement, initially a first jamb (4a) of the frame (4) and subsequently a second jamb (4b) of the same frame (4).
