Source
In order to make a control arm (2) in double-shell sheet metal configuration for the front wheel connection on a motor vehicle with two articulation points (3, 4) arranged approximately one behind the other in the direction of travel on the chassis, which form a horizontal tilting axis (5) for the control arm (2), and an attachment point (8) for the wheel suspension simpler and thus more economical, at least one of the articulation points (3, 4) is designed as a hexagon (11) engaging in a bearing, with hexagon halves (18, 19) that are part of the shells (14, 15) of the control arm (2).
