Head up display

The arrangement has an image generation unit for generating image information to be displayed for projection as light rays directly or via projection optics onto a partially reflective plate, especially a windscreen. The image generation unit has an organic LED or OLED display (8) for generating the image information with a light direction device in front of it via which the generated light rays (2) can be directed approximately mutually parallel.
