The present invention relates to an electrical energy regulation device for a power bus (BUS), comprising: an electrical energy storage unit (BAT), a solar generator comprising a plurality of cells (GC1, ..., GCn), regulation means (D1, Q1, AMP1) of the bus supply voltage making it possible to impose on each cell one of the following three states: a first state in which the bus (BUS) is supplied with current, a second state in which the storage unit (BAT) is supplied, a third state in which the cell is shunted, the cells being distributed by the bus voltage regulation means (D1, Q1, AMP1) into two groups: a first group in which at least one cell supplies the bus and a cell is assigned to the regulation of the bus voltage and is in its first state only when maintaining a nominal bus voltage requires a current supply, a second group in which at least one cell is either in its second state or in its third state, depending on a required load current level of the storage unit (BAT), the number of cells in the second state being a function of the value of required load current. According to the invention, the device further comprises regulation means (D2, Q2, AMP2) for charging the storage unit (BAT) to assign at least one cell of the second group to the supply of the storage unit (BAT) and a cell of the latter to the regulation of the voltage of the storage unit, the cell for regulating the charge voltage of the storage unit being in its second state only when maintaining a nominal charge voltage requires a current supply.
