Integrated axle clamp and spring seat device for vehicle suspensions

A vehicle suspension assembly (30) includes a device for securing an axle (42) to a selected suspension component (32). A seat member (46) that is received between the axle and the suspension component includes an axle adaptor as part of the seat member. A first portion (52) of the seat member is received between the axle and the suspension component. A second portion (54,54',54") of the seat member extends away from the first portion and includes at least one support surface (58,58',58") for supporting a brake component relative to the axle. In one example embodiment, the seat member includes an integrated brake carrier.
