Projection apparatus for a motor vehicle

The invention relates to a projection arrangement for a motor vehicle with a projection device for projecting an image onto a display surface, in particular onto a windshield arranged above a vehicle dashboard. According to the invention, it is proposed to provide a channel device in a beam path extending between the display surface and the projection device, which channel device passes through the beam path and forms at least in the region of the beam path a light entry zone and a light exit zone, each of which is made of a light-transmissive material. This advantageously makes it possible to arrange a projection arrangement in a motor vehicle at a comparatively large distance from a projection surface, in particular the vehicle windshield, and to use a space within a dashboard that accommodates an air duct simultaneously as a projection path.
