Method and arrangement for starting a turbo set
DRIVE
March 5, 2003
A three-phase current is supplied to the stator winding of a rectifier exciter, so that voltage is induced in the rotor winding of an asynchronous generator. The current generated in the rotor winding due to voltage induction, is supplied as direct current to the rotor winding of a converter-fed motor (2). An Independent claim is also included for apparatus for running-up a turboset.
