The air outlet device is designed with an air supply into an interior space of a motor vehicle, wherein vertical and horizontal air guide fins are arranged in a housing of the device and can be controlled via an actuating device. The housing can be fastened in an opening of a column trim panel. The housing has a vertically aligned air guide channel in the vehicle column, which is composed of a first lower channel section with an adjustable flap that can be pivoted about a bearing axis into a horizontal closed position and vertical open position as well as intermediate positions, and a second adjoining upper channel section with the integrated air guide fins. The adjustable flap can be actuated via a deflection bracket connected to a crank of the flap and pivotably mounted on the housing in a bearing by means of a control element. The fastening of the housing of the device is carried out via catch hooks that can be clipped onto edges of the column trim panel. Furthermore, the head-side fastening of the housing is carried out via a locking spring.
