Convertible hood for cabriolets, roadsters and similar motor vehicles comprises seamless cover material (10) with highly stretchable outer skin (11), thin thermoplastic foil (13) and cast resin foam layer (14). The outer skin is covered with foil whose other side carries the cast resin foam layer which is applied by foaming process.
