Bimodal rail-road crane and rail engagement method

The mobile crane (2) has wheels allowing it to travel on the road. Swiveling bogies (6) at either end of the crane can be lowered to allow it to travel on a railway track (10). An Independent claim is included for a method for converting a crane for travel on a railway track using the system described above.
